Connecticut, passed his written and field
test for high school soccer in 1964.

Five years later, he was a charter member
of the Eastern Connecticut Board. His officiating career
included 30 years of selection as a high school state tournament
official.

He passed his NISOA testing in 1972,
beginning 33 years of active service to the intercollegiate
soccer community.

A Local, State and National Assessor since
1988, he was NISOA’s Director of National Assessment in 1983 and
was a NISOA Camp Instructor from 1984-91.

He served on the National Convention
Planning Committee twice, in 1983 and again in 2004.

He earned more than 50 league and NCAA
post-season officiating assignments between 1983 and 1998.

His collegiate experience includes working
in the Ivy League, Big East, America East, Metro Atlantic and
Northeast conferences as well as NCAA Division II and III and
junior college matches throughout New England.

He was selected as an official for the New
England Division II and Division III championships in 1981.
