Khalaf Al-Latayfeh (IL)
We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Khalaf Al-Latayfeh (Tinley Park, Illinois) as the Region VIII Regional Representative. Regional Representatives as as the liaison between the local chapter leadership and the NISOA executive board on all matters of policy and procedures for their local geographical area. Region VIII includes NISOA chapters in the states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Khalaf, or known as Kal by his friends, is an accomplished referee, having obtained National Referee status in his home country of Jordan, the United States Soccer Federation and NISOA. He has been appointed to either the Men’s or Women’s NAIA Championship Finals 12 straight years. In 2008, Kal was selected as the NISOA Region VIII Referee of the Year.
Kal is also part of his local chapter’s (Greater Chicago ISOA) leadership group, having spent the last 7 years as the GCC Executive Board Vice President.
Off the field, Khalaf has spent the last 23 years employed by the food and beverage group at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide.
