NISOA announces that 10 full scholarships are available for underprivileged individuals to attend this year’s NISOA referee training camp at Elizabethtown College. The money for these scholarships were made available from a grant from the U.S. Soccer Foundation. These scholarships are in addition to the 20 that are available for minorities and females that are funded through a grant from the NCAA. Individuals should apply for the scholarship by providing a statement with their camp application as to why they feel they are eligible.

Scholarship availability, are the partial scholarships available everyone. Members with families and kids in college with limited income, for example.
Can you please tell me what do you mean by minority? I’m from Eastern Europe, Moldova. Is this considered minority or not? Please let me know.
I am a USSF,FSSA,FYSA soccer referee and I also have A USSF soccer coaching license. I am an African male and I presently live in Florida. I have recently become unemployed as of 6/9/10, I have three teenage children currently in the house. I would love to attend the training camp, however , things are expressly financially tight. Refereeing at this level would be an ambition accomplished for me!
