  1. Hi, I’m a former NCAA Div 1 and Region 1 ODP coach who is looking to referee high school and college matches. I was wondering what the process is to get the license.

Thank you for you time. Any information would be most helpful.

    • Each state has its own set of guidelines to become a High School Official. You should contact the state athletic office to find out what the steps are in your area. To become a member of NISOA you must have a minimum of 3 years of officiating experience at levels set forth in our policy and found on the forms page of this site. Best of luck in your endeavors.

  2. For Ken Huber –
If I do a requested assessment for the referee, and he pays, do the AR’s get a feedback also and can they use that feedback as one of their required assessments after the fact? or do I not send them a feedback (AR’s)?

    • The Director of Assessment indicated that you give feedback to the crew as a whole. If one of the A/R’s want this to count, they need to pay you and you complete an A/R evaluation form and send. This is of course you feel you observed sufficient data for the A/R report to be valid

  3. What written test is being used for new members wanting to join NISOA? And who has the test and how can I get one so I can proctor for 5 new members?

    Klaus
