We are deeply saddened to report that Frank Jewell passed away on Tuesday, May 26, at the age of 81.  Frank was a life member of NISOA, Hall of Fame, Honor Award, Robert Sumpter Excellence in Teaching recipient, and Distinguished Service Award winner.  Frank was a true NISOA member working diligently for the organization in numerous positions including curriculum director for camp and Director of Assessment. Frank was also an officer and served as president of NISOA.   He was a mentor to many younger officials and helped develop the NISOA Mentor Program.  Frank often drove from Ormond Beach to Longwood, FL to spend time working with Dr. Ray Bernabei on numerous items.  He was always willing to donate his time and talents for the betterment of NISOA.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday May 30, in Ormond Beach, FL.   Frank always said “he ain’t heavy he is my brother.”  With that in mind, memorial donations can be sent to Boys Town, PO Box 8000, Boys Town, NE 68010.
