Mark Herrington (TN)

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Herrington (Memphis, Tennessee) as the Regional Area Coordinator for Region V, replacing NISOA Hall of Fame member Robert Fischer. The Regional Area Coordinator works with all the NISOA National Referees and potential National Referee candidates to coordinate all administration aspects of the National Referee Program including fitness testing and on field assessments in their geographic region. Region V covers the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama.

Mark is an accomplished collegiate referee, having obtained NISOA National Referee status in 2008.  He has been appointed to the Women’s NAIA Championship Finals on six occasions as well as various Division I conference tournaments. Mark has been the Midsouth ISOA Chapter President since 2010, having focused on recruitment and education of Midsouth ISOA chapter members as well as being the Coordinator of Soccer Officials for the Division II  Gulf South Conference, Division III Southern States Athletic Conference, and the NAIA Southern Athletic Association.
