Amanda Ross – NISOA Director of Assessment

The NISOA Executive Board and the NISOA Senior Director of Evaluations, Dr. George Noujaim are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Amanda Ross (AL) as Director of Assessment. Amanda joined NISOA in 2012 and has officiated countless college games, including the 2013, 2014, and 2016 Women’s College Cup Finals. She became a NISOA National Clinician and NISOA National Assessor in 2019.

Most notably, Amanda was on the FIFA International Panel between 2014 and 2017. She is a US Soccer National Referee Coach and works with PRO on referee assessment.

Dr. Ross is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama. Welcome aboard, Amanda.

  2. Always a privilege to attend any clinic she presenting at. She makes you want to be a better referee and/or assistant referee. Challenges your mind and to think outside the box. This was an outstanding additional to the NISOA Assessment program. As a current Regional NISOA Referee Assessor I look forward to learning even more from her.
