2015 NISOA National Convention

The 2015 NISOA Annual Convention will be held in San Antonio, TX from July 16-19, 2015. Information about the hotel, registration and golf outing is now available. The Hilton Palacio del Rio, convention hotel, is located on the famous San Antonio River Walk and a few blocks from the Alamo. Every chapter should consider sending a delegate to this convention.   Many topics will be discussed and voted on including a revision of the constitution and by-laws and a new organizational structure. Chapter input is critical to the success of these items.  The South Texas Chapter is working very hard to ensure that this will be a fantastic convention. The Friday evening social will be at Sea World and all attendees and family members will have an opportunity to tour the attraction after dinner. Throughout the convention the NISOA Auxiliary will be hosting events for family members. Plans include a bus tour of the city, lunch in Market Square and more. Details on the auxiliary plans will be posted on nisoa.com in the future.

On Saturday, July 18, 2015, a National Referee Academy will be held in conjunction with the convention. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the academy and observe what is being taught at the National level. This year’s academies should be very interesting with a variety of important topics.
