Bill Tkach (PA)
NISOA Hall of Fame member, William “Bill” Tkach (Pennsylvania) passed away on May 3, 2017 at 90 years of age. Bill resided in South Fayette Township, Pennsylvania. Beloved husband of Dorthy (Degrosky) Tkach. loving father of Patricia (Kenny) Deep, the late Maryanne Fedor (late Ronald) and the late infant boy Willian Tkach, Grandfather of C.J. Fedor, Bridgette Fedor, Kenny Fedor, and Billy Deep.
A veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Force. Bill was inducted in the Nation Intercollegiate Soccer Referee Hall of Fame in 1982. He was a member of NISOA since 1964 and with Dr. Bernabei formed the Tri-State chapter in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area in 1960. He served as NISOA’s secretary from 1970 – 1972.

Bill made me the official I was, I worked many years with him. He not only was a good referee, he knew the rules as good as anyone
