Pierce Richardson

NISOA Hall of Fame member, Pierce Richardson passed away on August 31, 2017. Pierce was one of the original NISOA Assignors as well as a National Referee, and Region IV Representative. Pierce’s many accomplishments are documented on his Hall of Fame page.

A memorial service is being planned with details to follow.

  1. I was a college referee in Georgia from 1995 through 1999, moved from the west coast to work for the 96 Olympic Games.

    I refereed for and with Pierce, attended clinics with him for years. A friendly, wise, welcoming man who cared about his fellow referees. He will be missed!

    My best to Griff and other old friends.
