NISOA is once again partnering with United Educators to bring you additional training covering a variety of topics. NISOA, the leader in college soccer official training and education is providing its membership with new online material. This year NISOA presents five training modules that include the following:
Last year NISOA required your participation in a module that related to nationally recognized issues that focus on discrimination and harassment. This year is no different. NISOA members work in college contests with mixed crews or games of different genders. It is important for all of us to recognize the circumstances and situations that could be interpreted as sexual harassment or discrimination. It is for this reason that NISOA is requiring its membership to review this important training module again this year.
In support of the “Prevent Discrimination and Harassment Together” module, NISOA is presenting the Gender Variations in Officiating. Through this presentation you will learn the statistics regarding the actual number of D1-3 men’s and women’s teams along with officiating strategies.
