Officials who wish to be considered for NCAA post-season assignments must successfully complete the following tasks on the NCAA Soccer Central Hub on ArbiterSports.com:

  1. Complete the annual registration on the Registration tab. Registration is provided for NISOA members at no additional cost.
  2. Achieve 90% correct answers on the NCAA Soccer Rules test on the Testing tab.

Registration is an annual requirement for all officials for post season assignment eligibility. The NCAA Soccer Rules test will be available after July 2, 2012 through the end of August. Please be aware that eligibility for post-season assignments does not guarantee that you will receive an assignment.

      • I have taken the 50-question rules test several times and tried to track my answers. It appears the test considers3 balls sufficient (the old rule) to start the game, but the new rule requires 5.

the test also appears to be using the old rule for when a throw-in fails to enter play.

        • The “NISOA National Certification Test” is based on the 2010-2011 NCAA Soccer Rules and is intended for the NISOA National Referee Program. The “2012 NCAA Soccer Officiating Exam” is based on the 2012-2013 NCAA Soccer Rules and is intended for qualification for NCAA post season assignments. Both are 50 question exams so perhaps you are taking the “NISOA National Certification Test” rather than the “2012 NCAA Soccer Officiating Exam.”
