The National Intercollegiate Soccer Officials Association (NISOA) and the Elite College Soccer Referees (ECSR) share a common objective to develop collegiate referees through training and instruction so as better serve the collegiate referee community and the intercollegiate game.  The two organizations have agreed that a collaboration which leverages both organizations’ resources and programs will enhance what each organization is currently providing, augmenting current instructional programs, reducing redundancy and providing an even better prepared referee.  To that end, we agreed to coordinate our summer training programs by having the ECSR leadership attend NISOA’s NRP workshops and having NISOA provide instructional material and a resource for the ECSR summer programs.  Additionally, we have agreed that the ECSR clinics will count toward NISOA’s local chapter training requirement.

We believe that this is the first step in a productive collaborative relationship that will benefit NISOA and ECSR members as well as the intercollegiate  game.
